The anxiety from the seat, the curiosity atmosphere, the rising expectations developed by their previous works, the expecting public; this is the ambiance you feel just a few minutes before the show begins at the premieres of Argos Teatro. Diez Millones (Ten Millions) hasn’t been the exception.
With Diez Millones we have a rare dramatic piece, which is not autobiographical, but which definitely has strong biographic references. About the writing process, which has been going for more than fifteen years, the director has expressed: “One day I discovered that you can put on stage and do self-referential theatre, so I began to manipulate the idea until I finally decided to do it. It’s about my relationship with my parents during my childhood and youth, written in a way it can be useful to everybody”.
On the scenario we can enjoy the talent of young actors, some of them usual, such as Caleb Casas, and others like Daniel Romero (famous for his impeccable work in El Ojo del Canario). Maridelmis Marín works for the first time under the direction of Celdrán.
A new play by Carlos Celdrán is on the cultural schedules. The spectators know it and they wouldn’t let this opportunity pass them by. Would you?
