29th Street or commonly known as Santa Isabel is one of the main arteries in Cienfuegos province. It meant that for merchants and sailors from 19th century that many times went towards downtown of the city. It still means for current inhabitants and tourists who visit it.
Anybody who crosses by this big avenue might notice a wide fair of craft products. Religious statuettes, lively colors necklaces, seed pendants, bracelets made of leather, small sculptures carved in wood and so much more stand out in a colonial city environment, under the sun’s warmth. You may find there good quality footwear and accessories such as belts, hats and even purses.
