In Pinar del Río, the most occidental of Cuban provinces, not only the best cigars in the world are made, but also the best humidors in Cuba.
Elaborated with cedar, as a result of a project known as D’Cuba: Arts on Wood, these humidors also characterize Pinar del Río and are sent to more than 75 nations worldwide with the Habanos S.A. hallmark (which has made possible to considerably increase the demand of these pieces).
D’Cuba: Arts on Wood came up almost two decades ago, in the locality of Cuba Libre (situated on the outskirts of that city), on artisan Jorge L. Milán Domínguez’s initiative. Since then, Milán and his collaborators have made numerous limited series exclusively for their clients.
The humidors and cases they make have the recommended standards regarding temperature and humidity in order to adequately preserve the cigars and they have been exhibited in more than 70 international events.
D’Cuba: Arts on Wood promotes national culture through marketing in 147 Habano Houses in several nations around the world.
