It could be said that not many places like Havana’s 21 Café and Restaurant have such a privileged location, especially if you visit it at night: directly opposite to the Capri Hotel and its emblematic Salón Rosado (Pink Room), a couple of steps from the National Hotel and just a few blocks from Havana’s
Malecón (the highly popular seafront).
With its modern and sophisticated atmosphere, Havana’s 21 seems like an ideal place to go out for a drink. Rums, tequilas, vodkas, whiskies, liqueurs and a wide range of Cuban and international cocktails make up its attractive menu, in addition to, of course, the beers, soft drinks, juices, milk shakes and coffees.
Nevertheless, at Havana’s 21 they are ready to welcome you very early in the morning with delicious and nutritious breakfasts, or sandwiches and burgers, if what you want is a more comforting snack. Tapas (bar snacks) and nibbles include brochettes, croquettes, shrimps and different kinds of cheese and ham.
The main dishes, for their part, are dominated by fish, chicken, pork and beef, apart from a couple of Italian pastas. Some stand out just by looking at them, such as the battered shrimps or the shrimps with garlic, the Gordon Blue, the pork slices in their own juices, the smoked pork, the lamb in red wine and the beef stew, all of which you can accompany with rice, salad or fried vegetables.
