Yerbabuena, a rough-leaf plant with strong mint smell, gives name to a snack-bar in the city of Santa Clara, which opens every day from 2 in the afternoon to 2 in the morning.
Located in Marta Abreu street between Juan Bruno Zayas and Alemán, this place becomes a perfect pretext to enjoy those cocktails Cuba is famous for, and where mojitos, crowned by the mint’s aroma, will open new horizons to your palate.
Here you will find more than 30 national and international cocktails, from the well-known Cubata and the Habanísimo to others like the Bloody Mary and the Caipirinha. And of, course, in a place like this, you will also find wines from other countries and whiskeys, as well as natural-fruit juices.
You may have all these drinks with sandwiches, starters, skewers, and, if your appetite is ambitious enough, you can order the local burger, which, according to some clients, is the specialty of the house.
The Yerba Buena reaches its top hours at night, when the faint lights and the music create an intimate and seductive ambiance, ideal for sharing with your partner or friends.
